One True Media (www.onetruemedia.com)

Synopsis : Taking its cue from popular photo sharing sites, One True Media offers some of the most cutting edge video distribution and sharing options yet to consumers.

For editing videos, the site lets members create what it calls montages. Basically, it means you can cut scenes, add music and insert snazzy transitions. The process isn't quite as simply to follow as Eyespot, but it should be easy enough for most beginners. When you are done, you can use the site to post your finished opus to the site or post it on YouTube or Google Video. You can even have One True Media burn a DVD for $24.99 or print a photo book starting at $11.99 and mail it to you.

One True Media offers not only free sharing and an online video editor but will also burn a DVD or print a photobook for a fee.

One True Media is also one of the first video sharing sites working with Tivo's new TivoCast service. It allows you to send a code to Tivo Series 3 DVR owners so that they can set their recorders to automatically download any new videos you create directly to display on their television. Although the service wasn't ready at the time of our testing, the picture quality of clips on One True Media's site was superior to other uploading services, and the company promises that video downloads for the Tivo service will use a high-quality mpeg format.

Logline : Family-oriented site that offers cutting edge sharing options.
